Schedule an advising appointment
The College of Journalism and Communications (CJC) provides undergraduate academic advising services through the Professional Advising and Teaching Hub (PATH), Weimer Hall, room 1060. Advisors are assigned according to students’ academic level, major, and learning modality.

- General Inquires
Please send your inquiry to advising@jou.ufl.edu from your Gatorlink account and include your UFID. The CJC advising team will do their best to respond within 24-48 hours.
Alternatively, call (352) 392-1124 for answers to quick questions.
- Virtual Appointments
The CJC continues to make virtual advising available (via Zoom). It’s easy and convenient – you can speak with them from the comfort of your home! And you don’t have to worry about finding parking on campus!
Sign in to "Virtual drop-in" and an advisor will send a Zoom link to your Gatorlink email.
- In-person Appointments
For "walk-in advising", sign in at the kiosk in Weimer Hall, room 1060 (PATH).
To make an in-person appointment, find your advisor and follow the instructions under their name.
