Choosing Your Major

Intellectual Ambition

With so many majors available at UF, choosing a major can be a challenge. Your academic advisor will encourage you to choose a major that relates to your interests and abilities. In addition to consulting with your advisor and professors, you can research majors and careers using Career Connections Center resources like CHOMP and online career indexes, such as the Occupational Outlook Handbook.

To change your major, you must see an academic advisor in the college that oversees the major you are interested in. Your advisor can also help you add a minor and provide information on combination degrees.
